Our whole family love Kappa, they are Frog/Turtle-like Japanese yokai (Monsters) who love pickles (amongst other more dubious things).
Our 7 year old daughter Lila painted this Kappa with Pickle and drumstick while we were in managed isolation in New Zealand, at the beginning of this year. We are both so proud of her work on this and love her imagining of a Kappa, so we have turned this painting into her very first prints!
